Is it normal to be somewhat concieted about my music?

I'm an R&B artist, and I'm really good, and I'm not the only person that thinks so, there are thousands of people who have told me so.

Is it normal to feel very proud of myself for my accomplishments? It's not like I think my shit doesn't stink, but I am at the point where I KNOW I have something, and it feels really damn good.

It seems like some people think I should think my music sucks and be surprised when people tell me it's good, but it's the opposite, I know it's good.

I will still take constructive criticism from people that aren't just hating.

Lol this would be funny if this is a big R&B artist like Neyo or Usher feeling insecure :P

there's a difference between being conceited and being confident. you sound confident, which is good as long as you don't get uber conceited.

    Confidence is a great thing.
Bragging is the main seperation between confidence and conceitedness. Just know when to be modest.

It's called confidence. That is a great trait to have in this industry. Don't let that flame burn out and don't let it go to your head. Good luck.

Hey you have confidence in yourself and that's good! As long as your head doesn't get too big, you still take constructive criticism, and respect others; then you are fine! Keep doing what you love... because your apparently great at it! :)
