Is it normal to be so tired all the time?

I am a 17 yo female who gets plenty of sleep. I get about 6-8 hours every night and almost 10 hours on the weekends but I am still sooo tired. I try to take short naps periodically throughout the day every once in awhile. I am in a lot of sports though.

    I have the same problem, well had. My dad started giving me some of his vitamin pills and I'm not as tired anymore. Try putting some more vitamin in your body and you should be fine.

    it could be mild anemia, try some iron supplements for a few weeks, a doctor will be able to tell you if you are iron-deficient. iron helps haemoglobin to carry oxygen to muscles and the brain.

      This is a symptom of a lacking in exercise and nutrients more often than not. Eat more green vegetation, less meat and stay away from corn bi-products, especially corn syrup. That means drink more water. If you are eating late it takes a lot from you to metabolise it and causes excessive fatigue. I once fasted for a month eating only cranberries, almonds ans drinking water. That combined with vitamins put me over the top in my energy. Exercise is a must to get your metabolism going.
