Is it normal to be so angry?

When a person betrays my trust in a major way, it takes a long time to get that relationship back..if at all.

In my own experience, I've had to remove the perpetrator(s) from my bubble completely and only after years am I able to attempt to re-build.

The struggle is that I'm no angel and, of course, I've done some hurting so I should forgive if I am to expect the same.

I'm just wondering if it's normal to hold a grudge (in extenuating circumstances) and if so, for how long?

yes, normal ... but im not saying that holding grudges is good

in my experience (for myself & my friends/roommates), people hold grudges more when they're pissed-off about life in general. are you happy? i mean, most people aren't that happy ... but try to make your life better

It's normal to hold a grudge, but it's not healthy to.
