Is it normal to be skinny, but have a big belly?

When I was 14 I notice my belly was big. (looked like I was pregnant) I have been doing sit-ups and exercise, my belly will not get flat! I have a porch and I don't like it. I'm 28, 5'6 and weigh 160. I'm skinny, but my belly looks pregnant. Look like I'm 4 months, I'm not pregnant. I don't know how to burn fat in the belly area...

    Go to the doctor. Maybe something your eating is making your belly bloat. It could be anything.

    What kind of exercising do you do? Sit ups will build muscle without really getting rid of all the fat, so if you're trying to lose your stomach that's the wrong way of going about it.

    Jogging is really good for your stomach muscles though, you're using far more muscle groups running than other kinds of exercise.

      Exactly. You want to start losing general body fat. You can't just burn fat in one area.
      Fat-burning cardio exercises are your friend. Running, swimming, cycling. Anything that gets your heart rate way up for an extended period of time.

      Everyone has a six-pack but most have it hidden by belly jelly.
