Is it normal to be sick of ur roommates?

I bought a brand new house this summer and key my BFF abs his stupid messy slob if a GF move in with their pathetic looser cat. Needless at say it was the dumbest thing i have ever done. They have absolutely no concept or respect! The walk in toss their jackets on the floor, purse on the floor shoes wherever they land, fridge is a nightmare full of leftovers. There is literally 8000 pieces of cat shit all over the litter box.

Needless to say it has ruined my relationship with both of them. I can't stand them anymore. I'm going to wait until after the holidays to tell them to take their messy asses to their own dump!

I'm so sorry. That's awful. A similar thing happened to me and it almost destroyed friendships, but we talked things out and things got better (though we are still all moving out in a few months). I think that before the holidays you should sit them down and talk to them about basic household maintenance/cleanliness and give them a few weeks to see if they can turn it around. Also definitely get them to face the reality about taking responsibility for their pet. If they don't change you should absolutely send them packing. The conversation will let them know how much their lifestyle bothers you and will make the kicking out less shocking to them.

8000? I'm surprised the cat hasn't decided to go outside of the box.
Why don't you kick them out? You need to put the "friendship" aside and do what's best. If they don't have respect, than they don't deserve to live there.

  • I always try to avoid living with a friend because I know at some point I'll just get sick of them. Chill quiet roommates are the best

Considering you even called the CAT a loser.... perhaps the issue isn't them.

If they are SOOOO hard to live with move out.

It is his house. Why would he leave "His house"? So if someone you let stay in your house is rude and makes a mess are you going to leave "Your house"? He said he bought it. That means he is still going to have to pay for that and the new one.

depending on where he lives he might have to.

cos once your "guests" have lived there long enough in some states they end up having legal rights, regardless of what he feels about them.

Well he should charge rent for living in HIS HOUSE. Also you can argue the case depending on whos names are on the papers. Also why should he be forced to pay money for paying a house he does not even live him? Does he get to be poor because he has to pay for two places?

            that's his own mistake.

anyway that still doesn't negate the fact that if his "guests" have been there long enough they may have legal rights as tenants.

it depends on where he is.

even if you wave the "his house" sign around

Yes but tenants have to pay. Which means they have to pay him don't they? I mean is he going to be forced to pay for them? If he is homeless I do not think that is even possible. Which means they will be kicked out since he can not make the payments.
