Why the hell do people join this site just to spam and troll and do a bunch of other annoying shit? It's stupid. It's never bothered me before but today I got a response to one of my comments thinking it was serious. I checked it, and it was just a user spamming "I looooove chocolate"
Instant migraine.
Is it normal to he sick of this?
I don't know most of the people you're talking about but I said something to the chocolate person. I feel semi-involved now.

I can ignore people like blackjonny but there are others; whom I won't mention that drive me up the wall.
I know what you're going to say: "It's the internet, just ignore it."
But when people constantly do that just to try to be funny, it just gets annoying.

I wasn't gonna say ignore it. :p its pretty hard not to sometimes. Its annoying as all hell and I have to force myself not to reply sometimes because then I'll just be giving them yhe attention they want and get more notices. And for a minute I thought I was popular :( waaaaa!!!
I got the same one too.:/ People complain about the polls and stories a lot, but I think we also need to think about the way we comment. And that includes quite a lot of people. Most of the responses I get on the rare occasions I even make a post have been lazy and uninspiring, and there's only usually one person who ends up putting any effort into their comment. The chocolate one is something else, although it's not much worse, really. It's also lazy and uninspiring, just much more obvious about it's crapiness. Stuff like this makes IIN a bad place to be. It's no fun.
When I saw the chocolate one I literally just put my phone down and said "I'm done."
There have some funny spammers in the past but when it gets to something like what I just saw, it just makes me want to leave IIN for a bit. But I'm not. The only thing I can think of is just to report them everytime they post that comment. Probably won't do much good /: but after so many reports they get banned right?
LOL they ban people on IIN now? The venerable website known for such thought provoking questions as "IIN I like the smell of my own farts" and "IIN Zentai"?

It's normal excluding the fact that you get migraines from reading a sentence. You might need glasses.
But yes, unfunny trolls suck. The art of trolling is a lost one indeed.
I didn't get the chocolate one, but I have got spam replies before. Some of them had the potential to be amusing but were just poorly executed, but most of them were just dull and try-hard; someone trying to forcibly create an IIN meme or a persona and then deploying it when it didn't even make sense. It's incredibly rare that one amuses me, because when it does I don't consider it spam :P It's not hard to ignore them if you only get hit by a single one, but it's more difficult if you get lots. So yes, I empathise.
