    Normal. Perhaps you should consider ending the friendship if that person's selfishness bothers you?

    Don't worry, my friend Smamantha is the exact same, selfish and ignorant and so frustrating but my other friend is amazing but she likes the friend that is selfish and ignorant, so I am just pulling through

      That's exactly what I'm doing as well, pulling through because my other friend likes that person. Just not much you can do in that situation.

    Of course it's normal! I have this "friend" who is a horrible person. He's extremely offensive but he talks to me a lot. I tell him, to his face, how offensive he is but he says "I know." and keeps talking to me.
