Is it normal to be shy when talking with my girlfriend?

So my girlfriend is 21 and i guess she's pretty much out of my league. Her family is very rich and none of them like me. So is it normal to avoid my gf ,becouse i don't want to get my heart broken? She works as a assistant to a teacher who checks her out all the time and i just want to punch that idiot in the face. Will she feel safe then?

    It's normal you feel like that, but you shouldn't, man. Really, you need to have these feelings/thoughts out and be confident! And please don't avoid her. STOP thinking she is more than you and "much out of your league". If she is with you is because she thinks you're the possible guy to spend the rest of her life, and she sees you equally. She loves you! if you keep avoiding her, she may think you don't love her anymore and you will end up hurting both.
    And about that teacher, If you are not comfortable with that, you should talk to her and explain your feelings.
