Is it normal to be shy

I am a 14 year old girl. I enjoy playing volleyball. Tall, blonde, blue eyes...You know the typical boy catcher. I can text people no problem but when I get to school and I am with my friends a can't start a conversation or jump into one. Even talking to guys. Though at my campground I have tons of guy friends who I have no problem talking to...please give me some advice!!!

    Yes, it's normal. The only advice I can give you is to get used to talking to people. Practice makes perfect. It's better to be an awkward teen for now than an awkward adult for the rest of your life.

    It would be even better if you developed that shyness into simply being coy, alot of boys find it attractive, even shyness mind you.

    Of course it's normal to be shy. You just need to work on starting conversations with people.
