    That does sound strange.

Are you waking up normally, or being woken up? Just wondering in case it's your body reacting to the shock of suddenly waking. An anxiety attack can have similar physiological symptoms to this.

If this persists, I suggest you speak to a doctor about it. We're not in a position to diagnose you here.

To me that could possibly be these things: first it normally sounds like a panic attack(i also have had one or two of those events and it's awful waking up like this); it could be the aftershock from a nightmare that you can't remember that you were having after you woke up... ; it could be the aftershock of being woken up suddenly by someone else or an external noise; It could be that you were feeling cold and you woke up shaking because of it. ; You could be dehydrated and/or hungry and that's the way your body is expressing those needs ; it could be a neurological problem(i say this because it could be sleep related, so i suggest you to go to a doctor to get properly examinated and run some tests so you can descard any doubts about health problems). I hope you've already solved this problem! Good luck!

Anything that causes withdrawal...including various types of drugs, both recreational and prescription, alcohol , and even some over the counter stuff...even if you take say a dose of antidepressant in the morning...by 24 hours later ypu can go into withdrawal can make you shake and swaet and get chills...or you could have a low grade fever that isnt noticeable when your up and around but deep sleep can make younfeel the chills

That's what happens when a demon licks your ear while you're sleeping....

But in case It's not, maybe go to the doctor.
