Is it normal to be sensitive to light and sound after quiting smoking?

I get this thing where about a week after I quit smoking I get very sensitive to light and sound. The first time I quit I ended up getting weird panic attacks, brought on by certain sound frequencies and colours, especially red.
This time I've just been getting headaches if I'm talking to someone with a really loud voice, and I've also developed migraines (which I never got before). I can't really describe it except to say it feels like the barrier between myself and the world gets weaker when I quit smoking and things 'Get in me,' to the point of it being uncomfortable or painful. Has this happened to anyone else or have you heard of this?

Nicotine is a highly addictive psychoactive drug, so I would imagine it could have with-drawel effects like this, you're obviously very dependent and it sounds like you need to go through serious rehabilitation.

Yeah, it sounds like withdrawl. Talk to your doctor and maybe he can recommend something to help you calm down.
    Good luck! Stay strong <3
