Is it normal to be scared of your own poop.
When I went to the toilet today some poopy water splashed up through my butt crack. I wiped it away. As I always do when I am on the toilet, my shirt was lifted away from the seat. When I got up, and after I washed my hands, I took off my shirt and looked, I could not see any splash marks.
But I can't stop obsessing over the thought that some of it might have gotten on the back of my shirt. And I get worried that some minute amount of it might have brushed on to my husbands hands when he hugged me later on. And it could be spread anywhere from that, and we both might get sick.
The thing is, I know on the one hand that this is probably an insignificant occurrence, but on the other I know that this is how people get stomach sicknesses. Would you just forget about it, or would you have changed your shirt immediately, even though there was no visible splash marks on it.
