Is it normal to be scared of your own poop.

When I went to the toilet today some poopy water splashed up through my butt crack. I wiped it away. As I always do when I am on the toilet, my shirt was lifted away from the seat. When I got up, and after I washed my hands, I took off my shirt and looked, I could not see any splash marks.

But I can't stop obsessing over the thought that some of it might have gotten on the back of my shirt. And I get worried that some minute amount of it might have brushed on to my husbands hands when he hugged me later on. And it could be spread anywhere from that, and we both might get sick.

The thing is, I know on the one hand that this is probably an insignificant occurrence, but on the other I know that this is how people get stomach sicknesses. Would you just forget about it, or would you have changed your shirt immediately, even though there was no visible splash marks on it.

I wouldn't worry about it. 67

I wouldn't have changed my shirt, but it would have bothered me. 20

Why do people call it an anxiety disorder...poop is gross... I guess I'm a weirdo too then...I don't even go to public beaches because of than kind of stuff. I definitely will not use a public restroom. What about this, let's say your cell phone ran out of batteries and you asked to use someones cell phone whom after they poop they don't was there hands...look up how much fecal matter are on cell phones and you tell me if your being to paranoid or have an anxiety disorder. Remote controls too. I'm telling you it's gross. It's also gross when people don't think of those kinds of things. Google Magic my friend...use it...there's nothing wrong with being a clean person

    • their is when they act as a clean freak would and that is mental illness, i hope your not one of these kind of people that act that way.

im not a clean freak and i do janitor cleaning work at my dads work and as i was sweeping the restrooms floor i watched 2 people use the restroom and none of them washed their hands or even flushed, and the toilets are always filthy with splattered-shit all over them and even on the walls and seat of the toilets and yellow boogers on the walls and where you get the toilet paper from and even spit on the walls, and thats just plan and nasty as hell how they do it it always makes me wonder what does their toilets look like do they just leave shit floating in theirs and not flush it at their house, and as they walk past me with me knowing they didn't wash hands after they were done i think to my self saying you nasty motherfuckers... then if he has shit on his fingers and someone ask for a cigarette they'll be smoking shit and putting it in their mouths thats why the ones who don't wash hands are nasty motherfuckers.
