I can't even speak to my own dad on the phone. Those people who call from over seas advertising stuff on the phone freaks me out as well. I am only just able to speak to my mum on the phone, although I have no problem speaking to my friends...
Am the same on both, but i try not to care what people say about me, cause at the end of the day ur still the same person u were this morning,so try to think about that while ur outside!!
I hate talking on the phone, with my girlfriend I take about 20 minutes trying to pick up the phone and order food!

Its exactly the same as shy people not being able to talk to people, its the same thing.
im the same, i used to work as a help dest girl for an engineering company and everytime the phone rand i used to either wait for someone else to answer it or if there was noone around i'd walk away from the desk! For some reason i just go into panik mode when on the phone to people i dont know-i start stutteriing and saing things that dont even make sence!!!!
