okay, when I was like 9 I watched this movie called the Grudge, scared the crap out of me... now I feel like whenever I on the couch or anything I feel like the little boy is staring at me from a place where I can't see him
Very normal! The people who make these sort of movies are out to scare people. I saw the Japanese version of this movie when I was younger and for months I was terrified to even shut my lights off.
9 was probably too young to watch that movie. the woman ghost always sounds like she's burping.
That's because he is watching you. He sees you when your sleeping, he knows when youre awake, he knows if youve been bad or go......nevermind
I saw a trailer for the movie "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory", scared the bejesus out of me. I will discuss in my speech the effect horror films have on the public.
PS: scared the crap out of me too and I sometimes hear that weird noise the grudge makes ... :s

I think you have to understand that just because some spirit can haunt you doesn't mean you can't haunt that spirit back. Don't worry about find it scary. It's just a silly trick on your mind, it's just for fun.
I think I only saw the preview and that scared me to death! Isn't that the movie when some chick is washing her hair in the shower and fingers come out of her head? I can't even think about scary stuff without thinking someone is watching me. I think it's normal, so you could be like me, and watch something happy in the other room while the rest of your family is watching scary/gory mania. ;-)

So I take another blanket and tuck my feet into it.
I went on wikipedia, read the plot details, and scared the crap out of myself. Normal.
It's a satanic/spiritistic movie.... You could have issues with actual demons harrassing you.
Besides that, yes, scary movie = scared
