Is it normal to be scared of mutants?

For I while I have been scared of mutants. Not green skinned monsters, but people with messed up arms hands and faces. I don't have anything against the people, but if I see some person missing an arm or has a huge birth defect staggering towards me I cross the street. So is this normal?

wait until you get in an accident or have a child with a defect. how would that make you feel?

that's right, so stop fearing it because it could be coming around to your corner!! :)

I sorta wanna get to know them. it's strange but limbs loses on people usally come with a pretty interesting story...and if you ask them about it instead of shying away...(said person) usally feels more comfortable instead of just ignoring the elephant in the room. At least from my expiriences

It makes me very uncomfortable. ESP. If they have attitudes or you need to interact with them a lot.

I am personally the exact opposite... I find those kinds of things extremely fascinating. However, I know what you mean and I don't blame you.
