I'm sick and tired of seeing and hearing guys use poor language around woman. It is happening so much that the fact that I am respectful makes me out of the norm. I don't know how you all were raised but I was raised to respect those that deserve respect, those being women, your elders and those who have earned the right to e respected. I've had it with all these jerks talking about woman how they are just some object used for sexual pleasure. It makes me sad for them, knowing that they have such low self worth. The language you use doesn't change who you are, it changes the way people perceive you, which believe it or not is a big deal. I have just had it. Would just like to hear your thoughts.

      i am a woman and i actually agree, why would you swear around a man but not a woman, doesn't make sense to me. Elderly people know what swear words are too, and they've lived a long time they've probably done a lot of bad things so i don't see why you wouldn't swear in front of them.

    Unless you're talking about swearing, too. Cos I fucking top the class in that.

    Eh, what? Sorry, little mangina, but since when did having a vagina mean I have to respect them?
    I find it ironic that you state "those that deserve respect are women, and so on". Since when do women deserve respect by default? Who do you think you are? If any gender is to be respected by default it would be males due to the gender's contribution to society. Although, you are clearly speaking of individual females, as in all individual females, in which case I don't think any group desevres all of their individuals to be respected.

    Equality is a bitch.

    It's weird to treat women more respectfully just because we're women. Just treat us like people. I don't think refusing to swear around somebody means you respect them more, anyway.

    Maybe they're like that where you live, but not every town is like that. Where I live the women don't respect anybody, yet they expect others to respect them just because they're physically weaker, pregnant, elderly, or a mother. Respect is earned, not falsely given like the way people do at their place of employment.
