Is it normal to be really obsessed again with a cartoon character?

I know it's really normal to be obsessed with a cartoon character, but I became obsessed twice, forgotten the character in a few years, then came back again. You see I am obsessed on a character from a show named Johnny Test, and my obsession was Mary Test. It is always on bad timing, when I just got home, playing on my pc, it kept me bound on the front of the tv not because i like the show, because of the character that I am being obsessed of. Even I am having so much fun what I am doing, I just can't stop going to the tv to see it. My brother likes that show so there's nothing I can do. Now it's bugging me again. A little help or advice please?

    I have a HUGE obsession with Tow Mater from the movie cars since I was 9 so i would say it's normal

    well it must be normal cus i just google searched the name and the first things that come up is porn of her... enjoy :P! and yeah ive been obsessed with too many animated characters to say... not long ago i also came back to first crush ever - a cartoon - from 11 years ago... but it passes. its really no differnce than loving a celebrity or actor

    I'm the same don't worry about it if you like doing it then do it when I get obsessed with a animated character I do the same stuff and try to find all the information there is about him and then I start to like-like him even more don't worry it's all good ^^
