Is it normal to be random?

Okay, I'm usually alright with my friends, but sometimes I just say random things. Usually quotes from things such as "it's over 9000!!!"(don't ask why, I don't even like dragon ball z or whatever it comes from).
My friends say that I'm being stupid and all, and I understand that, but yet still I say random things.
Should I be acting so random?

    I hate when I go to school and people act like this, just say stupid shit because they think their funny and they want to be random Its immature , I mean do what ever makes you happy but I would mostly likely stay away from you

    normal. I quote ytp with my friends all the time. you just have to get friends that are cool with it. like Dr. Rabbit? we say dr. rabbit stuff all the time. totally random.

    well, not normal per se, but not that uncommon. most of the people i hang out with do similar things, but then again, they're not "normal".
