I'm non religious and fairly liberal on most issues, but it seems to me that a fetus a human life worth protecting and his or her mother shouldn't have the rigth to kill her child inside of her any more then smothering a newborn baby.
Agreed. The ONLY time I feel abortion should be allowed, is in cases of rape or very severe medical conditions. Even in those circumstances, it should be aborted within 8 weeks. I dont judge those or have hatred for those who are Pro-choice, but I cant fathem the idea of how someone can do that, because of THEIR own actions.
We are entitled to our own opinions, so it isnt "normal" or "not normal." but i am pro life because we only have one shot of life before our consciousness fades back into nothing, so i am definately pro life.
To the pro choicers,
Its just, how would you feel if your parents said to you that they thought about getting an abortion when they were carrying you?
Also, if I were to say, stab a 1 year old infant, i would be called the biggest monster that walked the earth, maybe even beaten nearly to death by some dad, but we dont think twice about a woman who takes her 8 month unborn child and has it pulled out with a coat hanger!
I just feel that life is precious, even if it sucks sometimes.
I feel we need to make Adoption and contraception more accessible.
I do make exceptions for Rape and cases where the baby will die anyway, and is a danger to the mothers life if carried to term.
This is how I feel about abortion: I personally would never have an abortion. That being said, I feel everyone has a right to their own decisions in life thus they should be allowed to choose whether they want to have a baby or not. Besides, if a woman who doesn't want/ is not prepared to have a baby and has it, that baby's life isn't destined to be as good as it potentially should.
I agree, I feel you can do to Your body what you want, But a baby Is NOT yourself, even if its in your body.
