Is it normal to be overly emotional in nighttime?

So, I see myself as a less emotional than others, I tend not to care about sad movies or sad stories but this last few months I've ben overly emotional in night times.
I cry to sad movies, I laugh to everything and I tend to be more optimistic and logical, but after I go to sleep and wake up next day everything is the same, I don't feel anything again

Yeah, I feel it too. Maybe it's because you feel tired and less conscious...

I think it's quite common. Your mind is more relaxed and can go into a different mode - and maybe achieve a deeper emotional awareness. State of mind alters a lot during sleep as well. I woke up from a dream the other night and my mind was racing but I physically felt really relaxed. But I just couldn't stop thinking about my life and planning it out and blah blah - bit intense. But during the day I'm not obsessed with planning my life and don't believe it's actually sensible.

  • Only on full moons do I become strange. I go outside and walk around under the moonlight and have a general urge to sneak about. I sometimes go into people's yards and once, only once, I walked right into someone's house.

I told a random guy I was talking to about this a few months back and he looked at me curiously and said "some werewolves are hairy on the inside" which really creeped me out. I don't have an urge to howl at the moon or anything like some people do, just to kind of "stalk" and "watch" people at night.

Does anyone else do weird shit like this on full moons? I really want to know.

I tend to get depressed at night. Perhaps it's due to the lack of distractions that the day brings.

If you are alone in the evenings, but surrounded by people all day, perhaps it's just your way of unwinding.
I would imagine it's much more healthy than keeping everything inside all the time.
Some days when we're off the boat, the masses of people surrounding us is nearly intolerable and returning to our quiet anchorage is a physical and emotional relief.

I'm less tolerant when I'm tired. So I probably appear grumpier to others at nighttime. I'm not sure if that counts as being more emotional though.

You obviously underestimate how complex we humans truly are.

Maybe it's because you are more awake.
