Is it normal to be overly calm?

In recent years I find that I don't get upset much about things that should bother me. For example losing money, failing to submit final projects or to study for a final exam (in college), failing to accomplish goals that I set for myself (big as small, like exercising), losing friends. I worry that I'm too apathetic. I know that I have emotional problems (anxieties and low self esteem and stuff) but I wonder if it's due to that or not?

Calm is a good thing Its bad when I die on a game and feel like setting a designer's house on fire and eating their liver as if it were made of sugar and honey. Calm is a good thing, give me some of that would you?

I expect someone to snap or break heavily for being overly calm too long.

You aren't calm enough to be worried about being too calm...

Having anxiety and being calm are actually somewhat of opposites!

I understand that things that require more of your attention you are calmly doing little about.
I feel that the only reason why anyone would do this is if they felt those situation were just not important (especially in comparison to other more serious goings on inside you)

You need to balance this out a bit (in your mind and actions)
Try to place a little more concern on things that you already described (friends, money, school etc) Note, obviously don't go to the extreme and stress about these things. Just give them a bit more of your time and energy.

Since you are using a little bit more energy on these other menial things (ie how you tend to feel about the above mentioned) It would be a good time to take a breather from the things that cause you anxiety, like wondering is it normal to be you! Just relax on this stuff a bit for a few days or so.

After teaching yourself this for a few days (ideally 2 weeks) you should be then experiencing a more balanced life, plus feeling happier too (strange I know, but it will happen)
