Is it normal to be obsessed with my posture?

I hate looking bent over. Years of walking with my chest caved in and shoulders slumped I have to constantly correct myself. Im afraid this becoming obsessive. I'm 21 naturally thin and have sort of a long neck. iin? I just wont to look confident and appealing!

It sounds like you may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If you can't get past that way of thinking, it is not normal.

I do the same. I developed earlier than most girls in my class, and by 6th grade, had full boobs. I was ashamed of it, and walked with my chest caved in and shoulders slumped. I constantly have to correct myself, but sometimes I forget. I wish I'd just embraced my curves at the time, now my posture is paying for it.

The first time I put on a proper suit a year or so ago I realised how much better I looked if I sit or walk with good posture. Since then, I correct myself when I notice I'm slouching. Eventually it'll become instinctive.

It's a good habit to get into, because not only will it reduce the likelihood of developing Kyphosis or other back problems later on, it does exactly what you said; it makes you look more confident and appealing.
