Is it normal to be obsessed with drugs, their effects, and users?

For the past year or so, I've been utterly fascinated with drugs. Everything about them. The people that use, why they use, how they feel when they use, what they use.
I read a book about a girl addicted to crank and ever since then I've just wanted to know everything. I find myself frequently looking up effects the drugs have and why people are addicted. Its just so interesting!
Heroin, meth, oxy. You name it, I've researched and know more about them than everyone but the users themselves.

    i also went through this! For some reason, eventually the keen interest wore off, but it still fascinates me to an extent.

    i never did any drugs myself, but maybe that's exactly why -- since i went into such great depths researching drugs (& everything to do with drugs), that was satisfying enough without trying it myself x)

    Y'all are lucky to not be addicts! And just hearing about the lifestyle is enough for you. I was never that way.. But the lifestyle itself is very fascinating. It's normal. Just don't do that shit like me!

    hard drugs like that can be scary but some peolpe that you would not expect to do drugs did bush2 did crack hell if your mom was young in the 80s young as in 18 to about 27 she probly did coke cain same with dad if your older your parents till probly did some drug weed lsd ect but the point is drug effect peolpe diffrant
