I'm 17 and I'm obsessed with having a baby I love kids so much I just want to be a mother but I'm pretty sure I can't have kids because I try .. Is this why?
You shouldn't even be trying to have one! Do you have any of the proper necessities which are required to have/raise a child?!
Children to young mothers are statistically more likely to preform poorer in school, have psychological issues or behavioral problems.
Furthermore, because young parents have limited resources and funds they are more likely to suffer from postpartum depression, making the child more likely to suffer from depression and attachment disorders later on in life.
Parents are also more unhappy in general compared to their childless counter parts.
You're dealing with something else in life right now and it won't be solved by adding a child into your life. You're at the age where you're figuring yourself out and enjoying a care-free life while you still have it.
Take time to focus on yourself for a while. If you get too antsy for a baby, get a dog to take care of, you'd be surprised at how close you can become with them. Your brain won't know the difference. (:

I've wanted to have kids since I was 15. I'm 22 now and have yet to have any and I am on birth control and I am with a man who wants children and would happily have them with me and trust me, I want a baby more than anything.
I don't have a good enough job for supporting children yet, though, and I will be waiting until I do. Ultimately, being a parent is about putting your kids needs before your own.
Children having children; sound like a good idea to you? If you just want someone in your life to love you unconditionally, get a puppy. Why bring a child into the world you most likely won't be able to provide for properly (are you well employed or independently wealthy?), and will almost certainly limit the possibility of finding a boy (girl) friend. I don't know about girls, but most guys aren't wild about getting a new girlfriend with a kid.
