I'm obsessed with older male actors, I feel like a complete weirdo for even posting this....I've even resorted to watching really crappy movies to get a glimpse of them.

Yes. It's because everything he's been in has actually been stuff I would've watched anyway, & every time I see him in anything he just plays the same character (who I think is gorgeous) in different clothes. I wouldn't call him a great actor, but if he played the same character 100 times I still wouldn't be put off.

Rapunzel from Tangled. Although she's not necessarily a valid example (because I'm not obsessed with Mandy Moore) I believe it's normal, in relatively speaking terms, to have that sort of fixation once or twice in your life.

You're normal. Don't worry. I've watched films just because Franke Potente was in them. It's a happy coincidence that she generally makes good films. But I'd have watched them either way.
