Is it normal to be obsessed with a tv character ?

My daughter is 12 she's in love with the character Mr Garrison from South Park. I don't know why. She said she's crazy over him she's madly in love with him she watches every episode with him she watched all his best moments on YouTube. I told her Mr Garrison is a gay old man / woman who wouldn't be interested in 12 year old girls. She even cried when she saw some episodes with him having sex. She added him on Facebook she doesn't know it's not really him she out she's in a relationship with him. She created FB pages called " Mr Garrison my soul mate " and " Mr Garrison Love Of My Life ". She even cried when he decided to become a women. Now she wants to be a lesbian so she can be with him. She keeps having dreams of her and him together. She has pictures of him in her phone and she kisses them. Is it normal for her to be this obsessed with him ?

    Either she's trying to be funny and is REALLY dedicated to the joke, or she has an unhealthy obsession for the character. I feel that the latter is the case.

    South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network.

    A part of me tells that you are trolling here. If not, your daughter is in a very difficult situation and you are completely responsible and accountable to let her access to South Park.

    Show her the Wikipedia pages about them and explain it to her that it's fiction and it's not meant for her till she grows up.

    I also suggest you to seek professional help about it.
