Of course. No matter how close to someone you feel, there's always a fear they'll say something like, "Okay, thanks for that".
Someone once said, "You too" in reply. It was awful. If they meant, "I love you too," they could have said it but they obviously didn't mean it and thought they'd say something that just sounded like it. In many ways, that's worse than no response at all. :/
I'm not sure. I've got a "leave me alone" and then ignoring for over a year.
Both of those are better then getting slapped in the face or a drink hurled into it, like what happens to me.
I once got an attempt at a kick in the balls for loving someone too much. It was an "attempt" because when in a ball-threat situation, I move like a ninja.
Have you really had a drink in your face? Difficult to tell with you. :P I've never had that and I don't know whether I'm pleased or disappointed.
Of course you were nervous! You are leaving yourself out for massive let down! At least you didn't get a "you're neat" in response! lolz
