I am nervous to ask a girl out on a date, I've known her for about a year now. The sad part is I don't think she even knows I exist. What should I ask her besides "Will you go out on a date with me?"?

    Being blunt about it might be the best approach. I tend to approach by stages. Say hello one day. Make a joke the next. Build on it the day after, etc., etc. But I'm single and there's obviously a reason for that. You may not want to listen to me.
