Is it normal to get more upset when an animal dies then when a person dies in a movie? Does anyone else find they do this to?

    Logically, the pain of loss comes from losing something you connect with on a deeper level.

    So one person could lose his whole family who he hated and not cry, but would ball his eyes out if his favorite videogame was broken.
