Is it normal to be mad at someone who got drunk but shouldn't have?

We were at a wedding. The person who was supposed to drive me home (I don't have a license yet) accidentally got really drunk. The pours were non-standard, so she didn't know how much she was drinking. We ended up crashing at someone else's house. I was really mad at the person for getting drunk when it was her responsibility not to. And I didn't like having to crash at someone's house instead of being at home like I was supposed to. I got so mad that I couldn't sleep for hours, I could only mentally fume.

    It sort of wasn't in my control, other wedding guests took charge of caring for the person. It was also far enough from my house to make a cab expensive.
