Is it normal to be mad at my friend in this situation?

He is finally having his first relationship. I have had many until now, and tried to do my best to help him. He kept saying how I failed, because it ended in friendzone, and when he wanted to give up I told him to try again. Nevertheless, during this time I broke up with my girlfriend, while he, this time, succeeded and are now having a relationship. I got really mad when I heard, and immediately blocked him. We were besties but for some reason I just hate the fact that he is in a relationship. Am I normal?

I'm not sure you have any conception of what the word friend means. You certainly are NOT someone I would want for a friend.

You pretend to sail the world from your mother's basement.

You should, it's you. How many screen names do you have now?

Excuse me? I am only one screen name. Check the IP address.

Because I found a comment funny and complimented the person who sent it doesn't mean I am the person who sent it.

what the fuck is an ip address? What would checking it get me? Is there a little box there, for me to put the check mark in?

If you paid any attention at all, you'd know we sail the Caribbean, not the world. Slept through geography classes did you?

In your spice rant you mentioned getting all your ingredients from the county direct. This included China and India. Those countries are not located in the Caribbean, you may want to retake a geography class yourself.

You sound like a control freak rather than a friend: a true friend would be happy for him rather than dumping him.

You were besties? Oh no you weren't

Yes I agree. You should be happy for your friend. Maybe if you weren't up your own ass you might get somewhere in life.

Ummmm who do you think you're replying to when you say "you"? I'm not the OP

Ok, it is "normal" to be jealous or even sad that your friend has now got someone and you don't. (specially if you are very young and immature)

It's "normal" to feel like that and be all immature about it. But you must fight those feelings, because they might be human, but they are wrong.
You are being selfish and immature, it's common but it's not ok, stop it.

Apologize to your friend for being an idiot, let him know how you feel, he might understand and you might even laugh it off.

    Your jealously is very unbecoming.

Why don't you both buy handguns and have a duel?

Thank you for being honest. I think that I can still make something out of it, but his parents called, as we were... best friends, to tell me that he is in a huge mental breakdown. I knew he had stuff like this before, but I've never seen him do that. It will be the hardest apology, EVER, but I just feel sorry for him. Thanks again...
