Is it normal to be like this?

Is it normal that I cry really easily over things like movies, tv adverts, the news, when i see other people crying etc. but I can't remember the last time I've cried over something that's concerning me specifically, like I've felt like crying a lot when things have happened to me, but I never seem to be able to. Is this normal?

Same here. Crying for someone else is a lot easier. All it requires is sympathy and it even kinda feels good sometimes. But to cry for your own pain requires accepting sad realities that you'd probably prefere to suppress.

This kind of like me. I cry really easily when it comes to situations that don't pertain to me but when it comes to personal situations, I refuse to cry and show any vulnerability.
