Is it normal to be late after your first time?

I had sex for the first time on August 15. He used a condom & we checked for tears or anything & there weren't any, he also pulled out. My last period was August 8. I'm not regular, ill have my periods at different days each month. I haven't had a period in 43 days. I was really stressed & worried ever since we did that & now. I took a pregnancy test on the 13th & I got negative. next day I tested with the morning urine,, negative. is it normal to have a late period the first time? Has this happened to you?

  • I just wanted to add something.

You said: "he also pulled out" - It doesn't matter, condom or not, if he pulls out (for ejaculation I presume) as a man's precum is saturated with viable sperm and at many points prior to a man's ejaculation, that transfer could occur.

In other words, if some precum or semen escaped, it doesn't matter if he pulled out or not.

As for periods, they can be irregular and sometimes without explanation. Stress levels, hormone changes and more can all conspire to throw you off.

You don't sound pregnant, though I can't confirm this, of course.

Your probably stressing yourself out by now. I know what its like. Use a condom, pull out, check for tears. The whole thing. Just try and relax for a few days and hopefully it'll come. But if your really worried then I'd say go to a docter and have them check you. Good luck.
