Is it normal to be jealous of the people on extreme home makeover?

Idk I know they have gone through a lot of bad unfortunate things in their life but what makes them so special from everyone else? It just pisses me off that they get a huge new beautiful extremely pricey house. They even get sent on an amazing to die for vacation. It just aggrivates me like why do they get that?! I want that! Its like what makes any one person more deserving than any other person. I lived in a camper for a year and a half because my house had toxic mold and was literally killing us(btw there is soooooo much more bad shit but im not focussing on that). Our camper in our tv could only catch local channels and what did my family want to watch? extreme home makeover. What was so awesome about them that they got a house and i didnt deserve one? idk maybe im just bitter but does anyone else feel this way? does anyone else get extremely jealous and pissed?

    Adopt 5 kids of different nationalities, should have some disabilities.. then find a 3-legged dog. Send in app..

    I'm not jealous. Who would want their privacy compromised for the sake of a show? That she is sappy and they always try to me make a mountain out of a molehill. If you can afford it, you would be better off hiring a reputable architectural firm or a contractor.

    I normally always get touched by the peoples stories in the show but theb again this show is sooooo exaggerated. They could have helped much bigger number of people who need help if they really cared instead of spening millions on jus a single fmaily. I think its normal to get jelaous.

    well..some of those people live in very bad conditions, so they need new and better houses.

    their are many other less fortunate people then them i know i may sound rude as hell but there are people in africa that have no homes at all and no food i feel so sorry for them

    I feel so horrible... but yes... I feel that way a lot. Less bitter, more disappointed that my home isn't nearly as cool as some of their's... they get some pretty awesome rooms going on...

    Those people got a new house because their story is "touching" and the producers of that show only pick families who will bring in the ratings. If you think you have a pathetic enough story for them, why don't you send in an audition video/application?
