Is it normal to be jealous of pregnant women?

Ok, I'm a full blown lesbian. I'm mistaken for a guy numerous times a day. I don't want to have kids of my own, (mainly because it scares the life out of me), but when I see a pregnant woman, or one of my friends tells me they're pregnant, I sort of get jealous. I would much rather adopt, and my heart has been set on adoption since a very young age. I don't know why I get so damn jealous. Is this normal? Can someone help me?

    I've always wanted kids of my own. I, myself live in a family of 8, including parents.

    Why be jealous? It's much better to lust after them. That's how I roll.

    I get jealous too. I don't even like children. But, to have a huge belly and be all pretty would be cool :)

    It's because women are designed to have children. So of course you're going to want some.

      That's not always the case. I don't know what could possibly condone someone to get pregnant. I don't EVER want to have kids, and people tell me I'll grow out of that but I don't believe it. I don't like kids. I don't like babies. And never in my life do I want to face the horrors of pregnancy! The idea that women have an instinct to raise a child and nuture it is completely false and stereotypical. There's no way in HELL that I want a child!
