Is it normal to be jealous of my little sister?

My little sister is married and has two daughters now. I have yet to have a serious relationship with a guy (i'm 23). I love my sister but I can't help feeling jealous of her. Is it normal?

You're 23 and jealous that her adolescence is over, while yours is still mighty well? right...

Of course it's normal to be jealous of your sisters's marriage(it's only human nature) but quite often jealousy always cuts both ways. You're sister loves her children as she does no doubt is probably just as jealous of your freedom. I can understand you being jealous of a friend who has children but not your own sister, as your sister' children are like your own children. I'd have loved an auntie (my mum's only got brothers.) I'm going to become an auntie in December and while I get jealous of other pregnant women this is completly different as this will be like my own baby. I think that often jealousy is more inferiority. For now emabrace your love on your beautiful nieces. Your turn will come. xx

Line 2 where it says you're sister (short for you are) should say your sister.

It's normal to be jealous, but think of it this way:

You're 23- you're young, and you still have time to live out your youth. Because your little sister is a mother, she's lost that chance to just live life.

Just because she spawned a litter of earthling creatures does not mean that you too should find your "happiness" with someone else under the forced pressured delusion that thats what "life is about"

Everyone has a purpose in life, and it differs, it need not be restricted narrowly to this theory and notion of "marriage"

Someone to come home to every day. Also, free sex whenever you want it (if he can keep up).

Sex becomes boring once it's legal.

You will not be jealous if her marriage ends in divorce. She is at high risk as she married so young.

Party on like there's no tomorrow but if you think you are jealous then go and sit in her house every night with her children and let her go out to party :o) You will soon realise how trapped she actually is :(

Don't be silly girl, we all have our own path in life.

I'm not married and I've got absolutly no intentions of either getting married either. It doesn't stop me having sex whenever I want. Have you never heard of no strings attached one night stands. xx
