Is it normal to be jealous and envy girls with good eyesight ?

Is it normal that i am jealous and envy people (especially girls , since i am a girl ) who have good eyesight and don't need to put on contact lenses or glasses ? , i know that "nerdy" glasses are in , you know big glasses with black thick or thin frames are in , and some people like to wear them these days as a fashion statement , but i DON'T like to wear them. Whenever i want to swim , i can't put my contact lenses since i swim under the pool therefor i can't see very clearly , every day i have to put the contact lenses , not to mention PAY for the contact lenses every time i want to get new ones . I don't usually wear glasses unless i am at home and there are no guests around .

    I have always been quietly cocky about having brilliant eyesight, and very glad i'm not one of the "visually impaired"

    I think you should inquire about corrective laser eye surgery. Lasix. They can do amazing things these days.
    My eyes are terrible but it doesn't really bother me. I just wear glasses sometimes and use magnifying devices. But I'm middle aged. You're probably young. So get the surgery!!!!

    I always liked glasses, like before they were cool. I have also always had perfect eyesight. Sorry.

    I'm not jealous of them, but I do wish my eyesight was better. I don't have to wear my glasses all the time, but I don't mind wearing mine. I'm more bothered by the fact that I need glasses to see certain things well, I'd rather I didn't have to need them.
