It it normal that I'm a guy and I'm in love with Eric from the TV Show, True Blood on HBO, but I'm not gay? I think he "glamored" me through the TV screen. I would probably do whatever he wanted, but I'm not gay. He's the only one I feel this way about.
Maybe we don't need tags, and we like what we like, who we like, for the reasons important to only us.
And that's all that matters.

You probably just have a man crush. It is okay to slightly idolize someone. I wouldn't go as far as to say you would 'go gay' for the guy. But, if you would 'go gay', then no amount of denial will change the fact that you might be gay (really picky, but gay no less).

I wouldn't worry, you might just have a man-crush, which happens and doesn't change which gender you are attracted too, it's just a one off for that particular person.
You may well have discovered that if through a whole load of chance you DID meet him and he DID want sex, that you wouldn't actually say yes, and if you did, it might just be through a desire to please him and have him like you emotionally, and you get nothing sexual out of it at all.
You also may well be bisexual and this just happens to be the first guy you've been interested in.

You seem to like men sexually... Eric is a man and there are men, in existence, who are just as attractive, alluring, and sexy as he is. These gay men are all around you. I am not convinced that you can limit your lust to just one, unattainable HBO actor.

yeah dude I think so, everyone has to find their boundaries, cuz I think "gayness vs straightness" is more on a spectrum than a black or white thing, some guys I see are more attractive than others, but if I think of doing anything with a dude I feel kinda noxious whereas chicks make my mouth water lol, but yeah you should look up some cultural anthropology stuff about cultural perceptions about gender, or take a cultural anthropology class in college, it'll put this whole subject in a completely new light for you, I highly recommend it!
