I have a job working in a High School. Is it normal that I love eating in the cafeteria? I love the tater tots, and especially the taco's. I have the school menu at my apartment and get excited when it's pizza or taco day. There isn't a place I'd rather eat. Is it normal to be in your 30's and love eating high school cafeteria food?

      I did. What's nice is the menu changes every day, it's not like you're eating the same thing everyday.

    Yes in the US. And they have to follow guidelines for proper meals. I always drink milk with my meal instead of soda.

    tater tots = premature boobs
    tacos = hairless vaginas
    school menu = student roster
    &
    pizza day = 1 on 1 conference with the pimply kid with no self-esteem day

      I said I work at a High School. Not a pre-school. And faculty have their own place to eat.

      it differs depending on where you go, and in some places, its absolutely disgusting, not to mention close to expiration.

      where i went, it wasnt that great, until my sophmore year. the school got some new catering service and they had some damn good food!

      I don't think that's it. If I didn't work in a school and longed for cafeteria food that could be accurate. But since I eat it everyday when I work I would say I really so enjoy it.

        I remember kids getting excited about pizza day but I always preferred restaurant pizza. I do love having milk with every meal though!

    When i was in school, i stopped eating school lunch at a certain point, it was cooler to buy snacks from the vending machine or go out. recently though, passing by an elementary school i smelled sloppy joes cooking and dammit, i wanted some.

      It's good stuff and priced inexpensively. The vending machines are only open after school where I am.

    I like this stuff called turkey gravy. It is just turkey cooked in gravy poured over mashed potatoes. They used to serve that when Iwas in school. Really good and really unhealthy.
