Is it normal to be in love with your best friend

I met her in grade three. Ever since then i have liked her. Back then i thought it was just a crush and i would get over it. Guess What! I didn't.we are now in highschool and my feelings for her are stronger than ever.

It is extremely difficult to tell. I have told her once or twice but that was years ago and she never gave me an answer lol becuz of that i always thought she owuld never like a guy like me. but there also have been time where we got drunk and we got to second base. but i dont know if she did that becuz of the alcohol or what i mean i normally wouldn't go that far without booze

She's Sending me mixed signals!!

I am afraid that if i do tell her it will completely ruin our friendship or she might see me as a perv because we have slept in the same bed quite a bit. I think we might be too close for me to tell her how i feel.

I need some help

Is it normal to have these feeling considering how long we have been friends?

    This is very normal. The whole idea of love is to find someone of the opposite sex (or same if your gay, lol) who you can completly be yourself around and be best friends with.

    This is the same kind of situtation Iwas n a couple years ago. I was so in love with my best guy friend. We hung out all the time and we had so much in common and got along so well and I was crazy about him for years.

    But for me, it didn't work out. He never loved me back the same way. I think that you should just stay being good friends with her, but try to get over her and date someone else. Girls become much more attracted to a guy if they have a girlfriend. So maybe this could make her jealous or see that you are desirable to other girls. And us girls want a guy who all the other girls want!

    Also, I don't really think you should tell her anymore about how you feel about her, unless she brings it up. Let her come to you. I think you have already made it known enough that you would want to be more than just friends with her, so if she feels the same, she would say so. And pushing the subject could lead to rejection and might put a damper on your friendship.

    But, seriously, you might have better luck than me. I ever got to second base with my friend! lol! And we got drunk together a lot. hahaha. But yeah, ust play it cool and don't let her stop you from dating other girls.

    yes of course it is. there's like many movies and stories with a best friend plot. my advice is if you feel that you love her not like love, then you must find a way to talk to her and just be cool and be yourself. don't stress out on the situation too much :) somehow you can find the right words to say what you feel for her good luck :DD
