Well, I have been talking to an European guy for a while and I think we are falling for each other, But both of us think it is so stupid to be in such a relationship.Is it normal to fall in love via net?

    Depends on how old you are. If you're teenagers, it probably won't work as you have so many obstacles to get through and you're still so young. But if you're at least 20, it could work. My sister married a guy she met online from another country. They talked online for a year and then met. Kind of romantic and they're happy together. :) Oh yeah but like the person above wrote, unless you meet soon, this relationship isn't really a relationship.

    I think it's stupid...I've had people try it a few times with myself and I just can't understand the appeal even if I like chatting to them.

    I think it's pointless and it stops you from finding an actual relationship. Ofcourse, if you plan on meeting up soonish, then I can see it, but if there is no attempts to actually meet up? Pointless.

      Agreed. Only dated guys from the internet but they have to live CLOSE enough for us to be able to hang out 3-4 times a week for me to be willing to commit.

    My boyfriend lives 4 states away. We've been together for 3 years now and have plans to meet one day. For now, we're just aiming to reach our goal of finishing college and getting a job.
