Is it normal to be in a relationship with an older woman?

Anyway, today I went over to her house for a meeting about this year's babysitting plans. Her kids were away at a friend's house, because she didn't feel comfortable talking about it all in front of them. I went over after breakfast, and we had a nice discussion over a pop and some treats. She thanked me for how well I was doing, and said that the kids appreciated me too. She upped my pay by about 10%, and we planned out the schedule for this month, and discussed general plans for the new year. After the business was over, we just started talking about various things, including our holidays. I asked how her holiday was, and she said it was good, all her friends were really good to her, and that she got invited to a big party by one of her coworkers. Apparently this coworker of hers is a wonderful hobbyist dressmaker, and made her an old fashioned dress as a gift, which she gave to her at this party. She said that she appreciated it, but didn't know where she would wear it. I asked her what it was like, and she invited me to her room to come see it. I was agreeable, so we went to her bedroom, and she changed in the bathroom and modeled it for me. Now, this dress is one of those dresses with no shoulders. It was a purple dress in almost that exact style, and I was obviously more than a little aroused when I saw her wearing it. She asked me how it looked on her, and I answered by saying that it looked great on her and accented her figure, which was quite true. This lady has a great figure, and I caught myself glancing at her neckline and below. She thanked me very sweetly, sat down on the edge of her bed, and gestured for me to sit next to her, which I did. She then asked me how my Christmas was, to which I replied that it was good seeing the rest of my family and sharing in the good things we had. I don't know what exactly what was said at this point, because I was trying hard to stay calm next to this woman...

I had to remove what happened beyond this point, as I think it offended someone. Anyway, we had sex shortly thereafter. The person who most likely flagged it described it as "shitty porn", even though I explicitly refused to give any details, and tried to make it as low-key as possible. I will say for the record that I did ask and was granted her permission before beginning.

So, my question to all of you is: Is it normal to have a relationship with a much older woman? I am not sorry about today's experience, I am just asking whether it is normal to have an extended relationship going forward. Is it normal?
