Is it normal to be hungry almost all the time?

This has been going on for as long as I can remember. Usually after dinner my stomach just will NOT stop growling! So then I have to go grab a yogurt and banana to make myself feel better. Is this normal? Do I have a high metabolism or whatever??

  • If you are at a healthy weight and you have good energy levels then I'd think you a perfectly fine. If you are overweight or obese however, I must respectfully say that you should probably drop the eating utensils fatty mcfatterson. Drop and give me fiddy.

If you eat a lot and never gain weight, it sounds like very high metabolism. That could explain how kids can eat so much, my cousin is 7 and he eats sooo much after school, and so do these two girls (4 and 2) I watch sometimes. Metabolism usually slows down as you get older, but maybe yours didn't so...good for you.

Same here. It is totally normal, or you and I, and a bunch of people more over the entire world, are wrong...

Yes, some people got what they call a bottomless stomach. They can just keep eating.

I can eat a lot too, but there does come a moment when I'm full.

I'm like that too, always hungry or if I eat a big meal, I might be full for maybe fifteen to twenty minutes before I'm starving again. Unfortunately I love all the crappy food too...I'm not overweight.. Yet. Im so short I know it'll catch up eventually I'd I don't start eating better or less.

Eat more high fibre and protein foods. Eat less sugar, carbohydrates, refined foods, etc. How many times do you have a bowel movement per day? It could be that you are hungry because you go so much. Do you also exercise? Burning off lots of calories can make you very hungry.
