I live in Alaska, and I know lots of people that "Wake and bake", and smoke all day long, every day. They lead normal lives, go to work, function quite well and you'd never know it unless you saw them or they told you. The stigma of "stoners", being losers and low-lifes isn't always true. Not everyone who smokes dope sits around and plays video games all day long, or don't have jobs, or don't have homes etc... The people I know are professionals, businessmen and women. A lot of "smokers", partake after work or on the weekends. As long as it doesn't interfere with their livelihoods, and they can maintain a sense of reality, who cares what they do. Marijuana is legal here. A person can have up to an ounce of marijuana for personal use and not get into trouble with the law. They can not distribute it for sale, and they can have up to 25 plants growing without getting busted. If you can function and maintain your lifestyle and provide for yourself or a family, then I say smoke all day every day. Who cares!

I agree. We live in a society filled with control freaks. Although personally I don't think highly of drug abuse (no pun intended), as long as you're not harming or interfering with another person's life, why should anyone else care what we do to our own bodies? Do you know how many drug cartels and gang activity we'd reduce if we just legalized marijuana? Holy crap...
