Is it normal to be happy that a friend is jealous of you?

I have a older(10 years older im 23) friend ,let's call her June. Well June has always been the type of woman who tries hard for peoples attention,sleeps around alot and brags about it.Sure she is a good looking woman,but over the years she has gained weight,quit taking care of herself and dates bums now. She always comments on how "im a bitch for having thin thighs" or calls me a rail or something like that...and she has tried to make me question the trust i have for my boyfriend by saying things like " he could be doing anything behind your back". Am I wrong, but i feel good when she is jealous of what I have? i DO LOVE HER BUT SHE HAS SOME WAYS THAT PISS ME OFF..

    They always get jealous over ya when they know your looking good and all eyes r on u she had her turn so tell her to get over it ! Live and let live the stage is yours now! Go enjoy it girlfriend.........

    Omg i like when my best friend gets jealous of me /: Like when i get attention from boys, she glares and i know shes mad... I hate to say, but i like when she's jealous of me sometimes... We both try sometimes to make eachother jealous though, on purpose... Idk!

    i think you have every right to be happy she is jealous! if she puts you down just because you look good, then there is something obviously wrong with her! its not your fault she started to not care what she looks like anymore, or even that she has low standards, and has lack of self respect. be proud of your thinking. p.s i feel the same way about my best friend to be honest. im a year younger than her. and much thinner than her and i get happy when someone callls her fat to her face.
