Is it normal to be grossed out by pubic hair?

I detest pubic hair. Not only does it have zero value in life & is about as useful as an appendix, but it's just plain yuck if not kept under control and maintained. I cannot stand being with a girl who doesn't shave or wax fairly regularly. I am a hot blooded heterosexual male and I myself keep the useless follicles well trimmed in all regions. I just get so repulsed being with a girl who doesnt do the same. Is this normal?
