Is it normal to be great at what you do and never find a job for it?

I am a brilliant person when coming up with ideas and concepts. My tweets on twitter always seem to get re tweeted with an abundant amount of replies, and my blog always has a great amount of feedback. I'm interning at the news station web team but I feel like I wont get any where because I cant show off these skills?

    Hmm, same boat.

I think you should try to do something normal for work, ideally it would be great if it incorporates your online stuff, but its not likely, at least for most (ie many do this)

You need life skills that can make you money, and these are things like educational 'institution' certificates at best.
