I am 100% gay, and I know it for a fact... but for some reason I don't really like drag queens to much. I feel that if you were born a male you should stay that way and not portray yourself as otherwise. Honestly, I think it's nasty. Is this normal?
It makes sense since you like guys, you want them to actually look like a guy... but drag queens are just having fun, not like they want to be a real woman they just like the fashion
being gay doesn't mean that you have to enjoy every single gay stereotype.
I don't think I've ever met a drag queen that felt they were deceptively trying to portray genetic females. (And I have met quite a few!)
It sounds to me like you're hating on transgendered people... which, honestly, baffles me. YOU yourself get discriminated against. Why on earth would you turn that back on another group of people that aren't as far along in cultural acceptance as gays? You want people to accept your sexuality? Try being accepting of other people's gender identity.
I tend to judge a drag queen by the name they pick for themselves. Some of their names are hilarious.
well obviously. you like men and if a man dresses up like a woman, he no longer looks like a man (or at least not FULLY like a man).
It makes a lot of sense to me, because if you're a guy that likes guys, that's what you should portray.
