Is it normal to be friends with a 15 year old girl?

I'm 22 year old guy, I have a normal life, I go to work, hang out with friends etc, let's get to the point, I've met this really nice girl, I can share everything with her and we share the same interests. We are really close, like best friends and if there'd ever be anything sexual between us, we'd wait until she's 16 of course. I was just wondering if it's okay for us to be such close friends?

    Where is it that you live? Many here will probably assume you live in the USA, but the age laws for dating might be different if you live elsewhere.. I'm wondering because you said you'd wait until she's 16.

      Well I'm from Finland, the age of consent is 16 here.

    Check your local laws. In may states anyone over 21 can't be with anyone under 18, not 16.

    I have a friend who is about 25. And he plays alot of online games. He gets really connected with girls on the game and doesn't find out their age til after they have already gotten close. Just wait til they are around 18 to do anything. And if u live near each other and want to meet in person... Please see if u can get a feeling with her on how her parents would react. If she is worried about them u might have to lay low for a couple years

    It's normal, I'm fourteen with some adult make friends. If anything ever does come up between the two of you, make sure it's consensual and legal.
