Is it normal to be freaked out by and regularly see little people?

I have a phobia about little people. I am not afraid of them, but when I see them I get anxious, my heart starts beating quickly, and they generally make me feel uncomfortable.

The real problem for me is that I run into them constantly. I live in a large city and I travel often, but it seems that I see them way more often than I should. I come into contact with them in my work, in my travels, and in my daily existence. As an example, I recently saw four of them in two days while I was on a trip to London.

My friends think it is hilarious and did not believe me at first, until I started taking photos of them as evidence to prove my point.

They supposedly number 1 in every 25,000 in the population. How often do you run into little people? Can you even remember the last time? Do they scare you or make you feel uncomfortable?

Is it normal to be freaked out by little people and to see them regularly?

I've seen dwarfs (played chess against one), they make me feel a bit weird but I try to ignore the feeling because I don't want to treat them any differently to other people.

um...it's not a phobia if it doesn't stop you from living your life

like being afraid of spiders is one thing bursting into hysterical tears when one is in the same room as you is a phobia
that seems pretty normal to me though
